Chloe Kaiser

Chloe is an Elementary Education major at Iowa State University. She grew up in Independence, Iowa and first came to Camp Wyoming when she was just seven years old. She continued coming year after year. She says, “I loved it there. The counselors were inspirational and made everything fun; I always came back home with the sense of feeling closer to God along with all of the great memories and songs I learned.” After so many summers of coming to camp, Chloe says that even her parents can sing along to the camp songs!

Last summer, Chloe got to spend her summer living in Japan and working with Camp Adventure. She helped to train other counselors and lead and plan activities. In her free time, she likes to do fun and adventurous things with her friends and family. She also enjoys exercising and reading books. Chloe connects best to God when she is out in nature, whether that means watching the sunset or taking a hike, so Camp Wyoming is the perfect environment for her. When asked what she is most looking forward to this summer, Chloe said, “Making a stronger connection with God, creating lifelong memories, and meeting all of my campers!”

Chloe’s favorite Bible passage is Isaiah 40:28-31: “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
