Tom Peters

Tom enjoys playing football, hanging out with friends, listening to music, and going on random adventures! That adventurous personality is probably what brings him back for summer number two at Camp Wyoming! He hails from Wrexham, North Wales and attends Liverpool John Moores University for Business Marketing. He actually speaks fluent Welsh! You should ask him to say a few sentences for you when you meet him. He has also been bungee jumping. Like we mentioned…he’s quite the adventurer!

For Tom, going on long walks is a great way to connect with God. He enjoys the peaceful quiet and the way your mind is free to just wander in prayer, thought, and devotion. He definitely enjoys the wooded trails and ample hiking here at camp! Even though Tom had never been to a summer camp before coming to Camp Wyoming, he has received the Duke of Edinburgh award, which is an honor earned through camping, volunteering, and completing physical and skill requirements, so he has lots of experience in the outdoors.

Tom can’t wait to arrive at Camp Wyoming and spend the summer with us. He says he is most looking forward to “making new friends and watching the children have the time of their lives!”

Tom’s favorite Bible verse is Luke 6:31: “Do unto others as you would have them do to you.”
