Andy Parker

Andy grew up and lives in Dubuque, Iowa. Both he and his wife Jenny grew up coming to Camp Wyoming as children, and they also both had the pleasure of serving as counselors at Camp Wyoming. They now have a son named Henry (who we hope will grow up to attend Camp Wyoming) and a pug named Stanley.

Andy owns and runs a small business online from a home office. He loves the flexibility and the time it affords him to spend with his family. He describes himself as “a musician and a home-brewer.” When he was asked to serve on the Camp Wyoming board, Andy gladly agreed. He says, “Camp’s ability to provide a safe place in nature for kids and adults to explore their faith and be open with each other and God is what excites me the most about Camp Wyoming.”

Andy’s favorite Bible passage is Romans 8:1-2 – “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.”
