Bella Douglas

The first thing most people notice about Bella is how musically gifted she is! Bella used to play both the tuba and the flute in band. She also plays the piano, the ukulele, the guitar, and she’s a Vocal Music Performance major at Loras College. She’s a very talented individual! It’s also not surprising that one of Bella’s favorite ways to connect to God is through singing and playing worship music.

Bella grew up in Waterloo, Iowa. When she’s not studying and working hard, she likes spending time with family and friends, going on walks, singing, and playing various instruments. Bella not only likes to play music, but listen to it as well, especially when she’s just out driving around. Any chance she gets, Bella also enjoys being outside. Being out and enjoying creation is another way that she connects with God. Admittedly, Bella does have a coffee addiction and definitely loves savoring a good cup of coffee any chance she gets.

This will be Bella’s second summer at Camp Wyoming, and we are so happy she’s joining us again. Grooveship is her favorite part of camp. She loves the music and the dancing and the high energy of this special worship service. Bella is also anxious to just be back in a place she loves with people she loves. She says, “I really enjoyed my first year at camp!”

Bella’s favorite Bible verse is Ephesians 4:32, “Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.”
