Ben Faden

Ben grew up coming to Camp Wyoming as a kid and spent eight summers here as a camper and says, “I loved every one of them!” He completed CIT camp and served for several weeks as a volunteer. Now, he’s returning to camp as a counselor! For first time campers, Ben has a word of wisdom for you: “Camp is the best! You won’t regret coming.”

Ben grew up in Iowa City and is currently a student at Washington University in St. Louis where he studies sociology. He is actually a twin, and if you look closely at our summer staff bios, you should be able to find his twin brother! Both of them will be working together at camp this summer. In his free time, Ben plays a lot of board games, plays the viola, sings in an a cappella choir, and does improv comedy. As you can probably tell, he’s a very creative person. He even knows how to beatbox!

This summer, Ben is most looking forward to crushing the competition at Paint Wars! One of his favorite ways to connect with God is at camp singing camp songs. He can’t wait to be together with everyone around the campfire.

Ben’s favorite Bible verse is Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all you who are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
