Isaac Langley

Isaac literally started his life at Camp Wyoming. For the first two years of his life, he lived with his parents at Camp Wyoming, where his mom was the Program Director. Eventually, Isaac and his family moved to Cedar Rapids where he has grown up. He is a junior at Coe College this year where he is studying Music Education.

Not unsurprisingly, Isaac’s favorite activities include theater and music. He’s already started using music to take on more leadership roles, including teaching trombone lessons to several younger kids and leading the children’s choir at his church. He’s also a great singer, which is his favorite way to connect with God.

Isaac says, “My previous camp experiences have had a very positive affect on my life thus far. Camp makes me feel welcomed, happy, and like I’m part of something bigger than myself.” He’s excited to return for his third year on staff after spending eleven years as a camper and a summer as a volunteer. As a long-time camp attendee, Isaac knows how important new friendships and experiences are to the camp experience, and he’s looking forward to helping to provide that to others.

Isaac’s favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
