Jessie Stratman

Jessie practically grew up at Camp Wyoming. She spent ten summers here as a camper and is joining us this year for her second summer on staff. She is from Davenport and attends Truman State University where she studies Communication Disorders. Jessie says, “I have always loved coming to Camp Wyoming and I am excited to be on staff this year!”

When she’s not at school, Jessie likes to get outside, play card games, play volleyball, listen to music, or read. She loves to walk and play with her Golden Doodle named Callie. Jessie is also quite the traveler. She has visited over twenty U.S. states! Which ones? You’ll have to ask her when you see her at camp.

Jessie feels like she connects best to God by admiring the outdoors and creation. She also loves to express worship through singing and music. Of course, camp is also a great place for Jess to grow in her faith. She says, “I am most excited to continue to build my relationship with God and share that with the campers.” She assures us that she absolutely can’t wait for summer to start!

Jess’s favorite Bible verse is Luke 1:37: “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”
