Lindsay Stratman

Lindsay is a senior at Assumption High School in Davenport. She’s a long-time Camp Wyoming attendee, coming ever since she was in fifth grade. She says, “Camp Wyoming has been my second home, and it’s the place I look forward to coming to every year.” This summer will be her second summer on staff, and she is so excited! Lindsay says, “I am most looking forward to meeting new people, growing in old friendships, and making an impact on campers lives just like former counselors have made an impact on my life.”

In her free time, Lindsay likes to be outdoors and spend time with family and friends. Her hobbies include playing volleyball, tennis, board games, and card games. She also loves traveling with her family and experiencing new things. So far, she’s had the chance to try parasailing, zip lining, white water rafting, and deep sea fishing. It sounds like adventure is part of Lindsay’s lifestyle!

For Lindsay, Camp Wyoming is a big part of her faith journey, especially because her favorite way to connect with God is through prayer and being outdoors. She feels close to God when she is out admiring creation and everything that God has done.

Lindsay’s favorite Bible verse is 1 Peter 1:15: “But just has God who called you is holy, so be holy in all that you do.”
