And We're Back

After a brief intermission from our regularly scheduled camp season over the Fourth of July, we are back in the full swing of things. On Sunday we welcomed just under 100 new campers to our camp who participated in games and were introduced to their color war teams for the week.

Here is a look at what each group did yesterday.

Explorers

Explorers had a full day of camp yesterday starting with riding Corcls on Frog Pond and going creek stomping. In the afternoon, they had arts and crafts, Bible study, slip n slides, and swimming. With a few more activities planned today, we will get ready to say goodbye to our Explorers this afternoon.

Discovery

Discovery had arts and crafts yesterday morning before they went to the shooting range to practice archery. They played human foosball, had Bible study, and went swimming.

Lewis Pioneers

Lewis Pioneers had to work as a team to overcome obstacles on the challenge course. They had Bible study, shot slingshots, and went swimming. Later on they built rockets out of 2 liter bottles which they launched over PJ Meadow and raced each other in pedal karts.

Clark Pioneers

Clark Pioneers spent the morning building and launching rockets and also racing in pedal karts. In the afternoon, they shot sling shots, went swimming, and had Bible study.

Sports 1

Sports campers started the day by getting wet and muddy by going creek stomping and going down the mudslide. They played flag football, kickball, went swimming, and had Bible study.

Middlers

Middlers played group games with the giant “earth ball” and then took time to explore nature and have a Bible study. In the afternoon, they went swimming, practiced archery, and had a cookout dinner.

Water Adventures

Water Adventure campers also played “earth ball” games and then played kayak polo on Frog Pond. In the afternoon they went swimming, had Bible study, arts and crafts, and enjoyed a cookout dinner.

Seniors

After games in the morning, Seniors got ready for a day trip to Central Park where they had a cookout, went swimming, and played more games.
