Our Day at Camp

by on July 14,2015 in Daily Updates with No Comments

It was another beautiful day here at Camp Wyoming. The weather was perfect and every group had a full schedule. We ended last night with worship in the pool, and today we are looking forward to our Paint Wars evening program and station worship. Here’s what we were doing today:

Explorer II
Today was the last day the Explorers were here with us. They did archery, went creek stomping, went for a swim, and had Bible study.

Pirates
The Pirates took the trek to Horsethief Cave this morning and did their Bible study at the cave. They went swimming, played GaGa ball, and had sword fights!

Pioneers
Today was day two of the Lewis and Clark Pioneer Cup Competition! They competed in a soccer game together, and then both groups went swimming in the pool to cool off. The Lewis Pioneers went creek stomping and did the mud slide this morning. The Clark Pioneers did the Challenge Course, played meadow games, and did arts & crafts.

Night Owls
The Night Owls did tie dye in arts & crafts. They played ultimate Frisbee, did the challenge course, and went swimming. They plan to stay up until 4am tonight, so after everyone else goes to sleep, they are going to play a game of Alpha Wolf, cook out dinner, and do Bible study at the Labyrinth.

Thrill Seekers
The “Thrillers” did more canoe training this morning in preparation for their overnight canoe trip. They did Bible study in the pool, and this afternoon, took a trip to the high ropes course to do the rock wall and zip line.
