Day Two at Camp

We had another wonderful day here at camp. The weather was beautiful, there were lots of activities going on, and Tuesday is bubble soccer day! Here is what we were up to:

Explorer I:
The Explorers started their day with creek stomping and kayaking. After lunch, it was SuperSoakers, swimming, and Bible study before they packed up and headed home. They had a short stay with us, but we had so much fun!

Explorer II:
This group went kayaking in the morning, had Bible study and snack, and did sling shots. After lunch, they escaped from the heat by going swimming and did arts & crafts before heading home again. Thanks for a fun time, Explorers!

The “Discos” started their day with archery and a visit to Bobcat Cave. Then they got to try out the new zorb balls doing relay races and human bowling! They cooked out for lunch and went swimming, did arts & crafts, and had Bible study in the afternoon.

Lewis Pioneers:
This group started their morning with arts & crafts and snack followed by a nature scavenger hunt. Then they got to try out the zorb balls before lunch! In the afternoon, they hiked to Horsethief Cave for Bible study and went swimming.

Clark Pioneers:
The “Piros” went on a hike to Horsethief Cave this morning and had Bible study at the cave. They played sports, did arts & crafts, and tried the new zorb balls. Of course, they also went swimming and played GaGa ball.

The Middlers started their day off with Bible study and snack before playing sports and doing archery. In the afternoon, they went canoeing, swimming, and played Bubble Soccer with Water Adventures.

Water Adventures:
This morning, the Water Adventures crew started their day with a trip to Werden’s Cave. They also did arts & crafts, had Bible study, went swimming, and played Bubble soccer with the Middlers.

Night Owls
The Night Owls woke up at 10am this morning! They did arts & crafts, played Bubble Soccer, and went kayaking. After lunch, which is dinner for everyone else, they will go swimming, have worship, play Alpha Wolf, cookout dinner, do Bible Study, and build cardboard boats.

The LITs helped lead activity hour sessions this morning after breakfast to get practice working with kids. Then they played Bubble soccer, had Bible study, and went to the high ropes course in the afternoon. They learned about behavior modification and plan to have another canoe training session after dinner.
