Grooveship, Zorb Balls, and More!
Grooveship
Last night’s worship looked a little different than normal. Instead of singing songs outdoors by the fire, campers were led inside of Deer Center to participate in Grooveship, a high energy dance worship with several Christian pop songs. Counselors stand on stage leading the actions while campers follow along.
Here is a look at what each group did today.
Discovery
Discovery campers rolled around in inflatable Zorb balls with the pirates this morning. They then built rockets out of 2 liter bottles and launched them over PJ Meadow. The rest of the day consisted of arts and crafts, swimming, Bible study, and slip n’ slides.
Pirates
Pirates got wet and muddy this morning. After rolling around in Zorb balls with Discovery, they went creek stomping and went down the mudslide. In the afternoon they went to arts and crafts, had Bible study, and went swimming.
Pioneers
Pioneers started the day off with archery on the target range. They rolled around in Zorb balls, had arts and crafts, went swimming, and enjoyed a cookout dinner of pizza quesadillas.
Sports 2
Sports campers played bubble soccer in Zorb balls with the other camp groups. They spent the rest of the day on an off-site trip to Central Park where they had cookouts, went on Corcls, and had games and Bible study.
Middlers
After playing bubble soccer with Sports and Water Adventures, Middlers took an off-site trip to explore Werden’s Cave. In the afternoon, they had Bible study, swimming, and solved puzzles in the challenge course.
Water Adventures
With Bubble soccer and the challenge course in the morning, Water Adventure campers spent the afternoon at Jellystone Aqua Park where they swam and went on floating obstacle courses.
