Hello Tuesday
It’s our second full day at camp, and everyone was outside, enjoying the sunshine, and taking advantage of everything that camp has to offer. Here’s what we did today:
Explorers
This was the last day the Explorers were with us at camp. They spent the morning doing Bible study, having snack, and getting in one final swim. After lunch, they went creek stomping before their parents arrived at 4pm.
Discovery
The Discovery kids got to try their hand at the slip & slide today. They cooked out lunch over the fire, had Bible study, did arts & crafts, and played GaGa ball and 9-Square.
Pioneers
The Pioneers hiked to Horsethief Cave today and did Bible study in the cave! They played flag football, went swimming, and went creek stomping in the afternoon.
Middlers
Challenge course, arts & crafts, swimming, Bible study, and games kept this group very busy today!
Night Owls
After waking up at 10:00am, the Night Owls had snack, did Bible study, went swimming, did arts & crafts, and played games. Tonight they’ll go for an evening swim, cook out dinner over the fire, and take a run down the slip & slide at 2:00am!
Thrill Seekers II
It was a day of adventure for the Thrill Seekers. They went caving this morning and took a trip to the high ropes course in the afternoon. They’ll be going for a night swim tonight after worship.
Arrrrrrr you ready for an adventure!? Pirates Camp is a favorite every summer here at Camp Wyoming. Just for kids entering grades 3-5, these campers get to enjoy all the parts of camp we know and love with a Pirate-y twist! Along with classics like archery, creek stomping, and corcls, Pirate campers go on a treasure hunt, have sword fights, build cardboard boats, and walk the plank into the swimming pool.
