It was a great first day of camp for our campers here this week. The weather was beautiful and every group was busy. Tonight, we are finishing our evening by playing Granny’s Candy and having worship in the pool. But here is what we were up to earlier today:

Discovery

This group went kayaking and did sling shots this morning. In the afternoon, they played games with the Pirate campers, went swimming, and had Bible study.

Pirates

This group started their day with arts & crafts, Bible study, and a treasure hunt. In the afternoon, they played games with the Discovery group, went swimming, and did slip ‘n slide and SuperSoakers.

Lewis Pioneers

The Lewis Pioneers did archery this morning and went kayaking. After lunch, they went swimming, did arts & crafts, played sports, and did Bible study.

Clark Pioneers

The Clark Pioneers did Bible study, archery, games, arts & crafts, went swimming, kayaking, and played sports.

Middlers

This group did arts & crafts and Bible study in the morning. They had cooked out lunch, and in the afternoon, did the challenge course, sling shots, and went swimming.

Thrill Seekers

The Thrillers did the challenge course this morning and had Bible study. After lunch, they did archery, had their first canoe training session, and went swimming. They cooked out dinner tonight over the fire.

High School Night Owls

The Night Owls took a trip to the Maquoketa Caves this morning. This afternoon they did Bible study, archery, and went swimming. They will be up until 2am tonight hanging out with the older groups, having snack, playing a card tournament, and doing fire spinning.
