Prayer – Anytime, Anywhere

The Bible Study theme for this summer is Quest for Faith, where campers learn about different “tools” they can use to grow in their walk with Christ and strengthen their faith so that they are able to share it with others.  One of those tools is prayer.  Though it seems like a simple idea, many would probably admit that they do not pray often.  Maybe they find it uncomfortable.  Maybe they don’t know what to say.  Maybe they’re not sure if God is listening anyway.  However, as the campers learn in their Bible studies every week, prayer doesn’t have to be complicated and it doesn’t have to be elaborate.  It’s simply a conversation.  It’s a way for you to bring your concerns and your joys before the Lord, to honor, celebrate, and dialog with God.  Anyone can pray at any time, anywhere.  Even after the campers leave camp, they go home with the knowledge that God hears them and will listen to them.  Watch the video below and learn about a fun way to pray by yourself or with others.  Make it your goal to pray more often.  God wants to hear from you as well.
