More Rain? Oh Well!
That’s right! We had another morning of rain, but that didn’t stop us from all the things we had planned. Everyone is still outside and having lots of fun! Here is what we were up to today:
Sports I
Our Sports campers did arts & crafts and archery this morning. We switched things up and had worship at 11am today where campers did a meditation walk throughout the camp. After lunch, the Sports Campers went kayaking, played sports, and went swimming. This evening, they’ll do Bible study after Pain Wars!
Pioneer
The Pioneer campers did the challenge course this morning. We switched things up and had worship at 11am today where campers did a meditation walk throughout the camp. After lunch, they went swimming, had Bible study, and played games. Tonight after Paint Wars, they will do arts & crafts.
Middlers
The Middlers did arts & crafts this morning. We switched things up and had worship at 11am today where campers did a meditation walk throughout the camp. In the afternoon, they went swimming, did slip ‘n slide & SuperSoakers, and cooked out dinner over the fire. Tonight they are going to Eden Valley for Bible study.
Thrill Seekers
The Thrill Seekers went canoeing this morning. We switched things up and had worship at 11am today where campers did a meditation walk throughout the camp. This afternoon, they took a trip to Werden’s Cave and did Bible study in the cave. Tonight they’ll play Alpha Wolf with the other out camps.
Seniors
The Seniors Campers did sling shots this morning. We switched things up and had worship at 11am today where campers did a meditation walk throughout the camp. This afternoon, they went swimming, canoeing, and did Bible study. Tonight they’ll play Alpha Wolf with the other out camps.
Night Owls
The Night Owls woke up today and joined the rest of us for worship. We switched things up and had worship at 11am today where campers did a meditation walk throughout the camp. After “breakfast” they went tubing on the river. Tonight they’ll play Alpha Wolf with the other out camps and then cook out dinner, go swimming, have Bible study, play Hungry Hungry Hippo, and do arts & crafts. They plan to sleep in Horsethief Cave tonight!
Arrrrrrr you ready for an adventure!? Pirates Camp is a favorite every summer here at Camp Wyoming. Just for kids entering grades 3-5, these campers get to enjoy all the parts of camp we know and love with a Pirate-y twist! Along with classics like archery, creek stomping, and corcls, Pirate campers go on a treasure hunt, have sword fights, build cardboard boats, and walk the plank into the swimming pool.
