Sunshine and Fun
After the rain yesterday, the sunshine today was very refreshing. Everyone was outside and moving all day long. Check out what each group was up to today!
This morning, our Discovery kids went on a nature hike and had a cookout lunch. In the afternoon, they had snack, went swimming, did archery, and played games.
Disc Golf, touch football, and soccer were a few of the sports these campers played this morning. After lunch, they went swimming, played ultimate frisbee, and had Bible Study.
The Pioneers did archery and arts & crafts this morning. After lunch, they were off to Bible study, swimming, and games.
This morning, the Middlers tackled one of the most difficult hikes at camp: the Mystery Cave loop. In the afternoon, they did nature, swimming, and challenge course.
This morning, the Thrill seekers had Bible study and did chalk painting. In the afternoon, they headed off to the high ropes course for some ropes challenges, rock climbing, and zip lines.
The Night Owls got up this morning and left right away for Werden’s Cave after having a snack. They had “breakfast” while everyone else was having lunch, and then went swimming, did team building, and had Bible study. At midnight tonight, they plan to go creek stomping, and then do arts & crafts at 2am before going to bed at 4am.
This morning, the LITs learned how to lead a Bible study and worked together to plan their own Bible studies. They packed for their hiking trip before lunch, and then after lunch, they went with the Thrill Seekers to do the high ropes course and zip line.
This evening, we are running PAINT WARS! Stay tuned for pictures tomorrow.
