Thankful Thursday
Paint Wars
Certainly the most iconic of our Color Wars games is Paint Wars. Campers carry around cups of their team’s color paint and dump it on each other in games such as time trials, capture the flag, and free for all. Campers start the evening with a plain white shirt, but after paint wars, many are covered head to toe in red, blue, green, and orange.
Here is a look at what each group did today.
Discovery
This morning Discovery shot slingshots at the target range, had Bible study, and had a hotdog cookout for lunch. They had archery and swimming later in the day.
Lewis Pioneers
Lewis Pioneers built rockets out of 2 liter bottles and raced on pedal karts this morning. In the afternoon they shot slingshots, had Bible study, and went swimming.
Clark Pioneers
Clark Pioneers returned from their overnight camp out this morning and made their way through the challenge course by working as a team. They practiced archery, went kayaking on Frog Pond, and went swimming.
Middlers
Middlers started off the day with kayak polo, slingshots, and a cookout lunch. Afterwards they went swimming, played earth ball games with Night Owls, and had Bible study.
Night Owls
Night Owls had a late night of more cookouts and games. This afternoon they went swimming, had Bible study, went to arts and crafts, and played earth ball games with Middlers.
Extreme Adventure
After a cookout breakfast, Extreme Adventure campers packed up and have returned to camp where they can participate in evening games and worship with us.
