Water Day
Today is unofficially water day at Camp Wyoming! Every group seems to be enjoying water activities of some form or another. Plus, tonight, the all-camp evening program is Water Relays and for worship, we’re going to be in the pool! Here’s what our day was like today:
MAD I Honey Combs
This morning, the MAD groups got together to rehearse songs for the musical during activity hour. Then, the Honey Combs had Bible study and snack before coming back in for another rehearsal right before lunch. In the afternoon, they had a SuperSoaker battle, went swimming, played GaGa ball, and had another play practice.
MAD I Jujubes
The Jujubes went kayaking this morning before joining the other MAD groups for play rehearsal. In the afternoon, they had Bible study, went swimming, had snack, played 9-square, and had another play rehearsal.
Lewis Pioneers
The Lewis Pioneers started their day off in the challenge course learning team building. Today, they also had Bible study, went swimming, played flag football, and joined the Clark Pioneers for a game of Beta Wolf.
Clark Pioneers
The Clark Pioneers made tin can lanterns today during arts & crafts. They cooked out for lunch, had Bible study, went swimming, played games, and joined the Lewis Pioneers for a game of Beta Wolf.
MAD II
The MAD II campers did archery this morning before joining the other MAD campers for play practice. After lunch, they had Bible study, went swimming, and had another session of rehearsal.
Thrill Seekers
This morning, the Thrill Seekers left on their overnight canoe trip down the Maquoketa River. We won’t see them again until they return tomorrow morning!
Night Owls
The Night Owls woke up at 2pm today after spending the night in Horsethief Cave. They played kayak polo, and after worship tonight, they plan to play Ultimate GaGa, do Bible study, and do Fire spinning in the middle of the night. In the very early morning, they’ll take a trip to Werden’s Cave before going to bed at 8am.
