Wonderful Wednesday
Grooveship
Last night’s worship looked a little different than normal. Instead of singing songs outdoors by the fire, campers were led inside of Deer Center to participate in Grooveship, a high energy dance worship with several Christian pop songs. Counselors stand on stage leading the actions while campers follow along.
Here is a look at what each group did today.
Discovery
This morning Discovery built rockets out of 2 liter bottles and launched them over PJ Meadow using an air compressor. In the afternoon they played human foosball, went swimming, and worked as a team to solve puzzles in the challenge course.
Lewis Pioneers
Lewis Pioneers returned from their overnight camp out this morning and went kayaking on Frog Pond. After lunch, they went swimming, had arts and crafts, and practiced archery on the target range.
Clark Pioneers
Clark Pioneers got muddy this morning from going creek stomping. They also went swimming and shot slingshots. Tonight they will get ready to camp out overnight in tents at PJ Meadow.
Middlers
With arts and crafts and Bible study this morning, Middlers spent the afternoon on a tubing trip down the Maquoketa River.
