COVID-19 Info

Camp Wyoming will be taking more health precautions at camp this summer. Precautions will include measures such as:

  • prtitions or 6 foot distance between each bed in the cabins
  • air-purifiers in each cabin
  • enforcing mask-wearing while indoors
  • encouraging and enforcing more handwashing
  • more use of hand sanitizers
  • more wiping down of door knobs and common touch surfaces with antibacterial wipes

We will be in constant communication with our camp nurses and the local health care center. We plan to send campers and staff home who have a high temperature. We will be constantly updating and revising our COVID-19 operations plan based on information and recommendations from our local health department, the state, and the CDC to ensure that we provide as safe and healthy an experience as possible.

Even taking these and other precautions, campers will still be exposed to the risk of contracting the coronavirus or other illnesses. Ultimately, it is up to each individual family to decide whether Camp Wyoming is a viable option and/or mitigated risk that they are willing to take. Please contact our main office with any questions or concerns that you might have.
