Sessions for Campers ENTERING Grades 1-6 in the Fall of 2019

You & Me (Grades 1-3)

June 22-23

Tier I: $125, Tier II: $175, Tier III: $225

Sometimes the best sleep over is one where you can have a grown-up join you! You & Me camp allows young children and an adult to retreat to Camp Wyoming for a taste of summer camp without the lengthy stay. Adults and children alike will receive the summer camp experience in only 24 hours! Adults and campers will live in cabins.you-me

Explorer (Grades 1-3)

June 16-18, June 19-21, July 7-9or July 10-12

Tier I: $195, Tier II: $245, Tier III: $295

If there’s a will for fun, there’s a way for it in Explorer camp. This camp provides kids a partial week experience (3 days, 2 nights) in cabins, so they can encounter all the thrills of camp without being away from home for a whole week. Campers will have the chance to experience all the best parts of camp including the swimming pool, kayaking, creek stomping, and more! You can choose whether you want to attend camp Sunday-Tuesday or Wednesday-Friday.

Discovery (Grades 3-4)

June 16-21, June 23-28, July 7-12, July 14-19or July 21-26

Tier I: $440, Tier II: $490, Tier III: $540

Come discover what’s in store for a full week of camp. This is one of the first chances younger children have to extend all the fun of camp for a whole week! Experience popular camp activities such as rocket launching, hiking to Horsetheif Cave, and arts & crafts while growing close to one another in a small-group setting. Discovery campers will have the opportunity to cook a meal over a fire and try our Zorb Balls! It’s the perfect camp experience for experiencing new things and making new friends.

Pirates (Grades 3-5)

June 23-28 or July 21-26

Tier I: $440, Tier II: $490, Tier III: $540

Shiver me timbers, matey! I see an adventure a-brewin’ on the horizon. This is one of our most unique camps where kids will dress, talk, and role play like pirates. Campers will participate in treasure hunts, play fencing, walk the plank, eat interesting piratey foods, and sleep under the stars for a night. Arrrrr you ready to give up being a land lubber and come be a pirate for a week? The adventure awaits…

Sports I (Grades 4-5)

July 7-12

Tier I: $440, Tier II: $490, Tier III: $540

Be it soccer, kickball, flag football, or basketball, if you’re a sports fanatic then this camp is your ticket to the big game.  Campers will be exposed to a variety of sports and will focus on skill development while learning how to play in a fun, fair, and engaging way. What would camp be, though, without participating in all the other camp activities, too? This camp strikes a healthy balance between sports and the traditional camp experience.Sports I

Music, Arts, & Drama I (Grades 4-5)

June 16-21 or July 14-19

Tier I: $440, Tier II: $490, Tier III: $540

Calling all musicians, artists, and singers: this camp is but a canvas for your imagination! MAD campers will have the chance to participate in all of the camp activities that they know and love with some art, dance, and drama thrown in. Take a painting class, learn a new dance, and have some fun doing theater games while you also enjoy cookouts, archery, challenge course, and more. This is the perfect camp for those art and music loving campers!

Pioneer (Grades 5-6)

June 16-21, June 23-28, July 7-12, July 14-19or July 21-26

Tier I: $440, Tier II: $490, Tier III: $540

This camp is perfect for upper elementary kids to build new friendships and to participate in introductory lessons in team-building exercises, canoeing, kayaking, and caving.  Campers will have several opportunities to cook meals over a fire like early Pioneers and ample time to experience all the excitement of a full week at summer camp.

Sports II (Grades 6-8)

June 23-28

Tier I: $465, Tier II: $515, Tier III: $565

Play ball! Campers will learn sportsmanship and teambuilding as they engage in all kinds of games like soccer, flag football, ultimate Frisbee, and more.  Sports campers aren’t afraid of competition and going all in for the thrill of the game. There will also be time for traditional camp activities as well, making this camp a great blend of sports, and outdoor adventure.

Music, Arts, & Drama II (Grades 6-8)

June 16-21 or July 14-19

Tier I: $465, Tier II: $515, Tier III: $565

Do, re, me, fa, so, la, ti, do! Whether you like to draw, paint, tap dance, sing, or play the drums, this camp is for you! Campers will have the chance to express themselves creatively in all kinds of different music, art, and drama sessions throughout the week. Of course, what would camp be without all of the traditional favorites like archery, caving, kayaking, and cookouts? This camp program is the perfect blend of art, music, drama, and all the parts of summer camp that everyone loves.

Night Owls (Grades 7-8)

June 16-21, July 7-12or July 14-19

Tier I: $465, Tier II: $515, Tier III: $565

The things that go bump in the night at Camp Wyoming are usually just the Night Owls. Campers will shift their schedule each night so that they stay up all night and sleep all day by mid-week and then return to normal by Friday. Night Owls focus on doing all the popular activities in some atypical ways such as tiki-lit 9-Square, night creek stomping, and Sardines.

Middlers (Grades 7-9)

June 16-21, June 23-28, July 7-12or July 14-19

Tier I: $465, Tier II: $515, Tier III: $565

Not interested in sleeping in a tent or treehouse? Then be sure to check out Middlers camp. Campers will live in cabins and explore all the best activities like canoeing, caving,  river tubing, and archery. This camp is the perfect way to meet new friends or reconnect with old ones, experience new things, and enjoy a fun and relaxing week away.

Final Countdown (Grades 7-12)

July 21-26

Tier I: $475, Tier II: $525, Tier III: $575

This program offers campers more choice in their daily activities. Will you relax by the pool, challenge yourself at the high ropes course, or engage your friends in a game of kayak polo? It’s all up to you! Plus, color war competitions, evening chill times, and Bible studies geared for your age group make this the perfect week of camp for older kids.

Thrill Seekers (Grades 8-10)

June 16-21 or July 14-19

Tier I: $475, Tier II: $525, Tier III: $575

Become a thrill seeker this summer and see if you can make it all the way to the top of the climbing tower and brave the trip down the zip line. Even better, see if you can handle the excitement of an overnight camping trip where you’ll paddleboard, swim, hike, cook out meals, and relax with your friends. Your outdoor living skills and sense of adventure will surely be developed during a week in Thrill Seekers camp!

Water Adventures (Grades 8-10)

June 23-28 or July 7-12

Tier I: $475, Tier II: $525, Tier III: $575

Escape the heat and have a little adventure! This camp is all about getting wet and staying cool. Go river tubing, have an extra long swim in the pool, and have a water balloon battle. Any camp activity can take a creative twist when you throw water into the mix. Plus, you’ll get to spend a day at a nearby waterpark enjoying rides and wave pools!

High School Night Owls (Grades 9-11)

June 23-28

Tier I: $475, Tier II: $525, Tier III: $575

Don’t want to go to bed early? High School Night Owl campers never go to bed early! Campers will shift their schedule each night so that they stay up all night and sleep all day by mid-week and then return to normal by Friday. Finding creative ways to enjoy camp activities at night is what makes this camp popular year after year.

Seniors (Grades 10-12)

July 7-12

Tier I: $475, Tier II: $525, Tier III: $575

This is the perfect camp for the high school student looking for a relaxing week with friends. Stay in the air-conditioned cabins, take a trip to a nearby lake, explore a local cave, and enjoy all that camp has to offer. From rocket launching to bubble soccer to kayak polo, this camp allows campers the chance to take in the best activities of camp at their own relaxed pace.

Extreme Adventure (Grades 10-12)

July 14-19

Tier I: $535, Tier II: $585, Tier III: $635

In this advanced high-adventure session, campers will enjoy traditional camp activities as well as take an off-site high-adventure trip to go whitewater rafting, rock climbing, and camping in the Wisconsin wilderness. It’s excitement and adventure on a whole new level!

Extreme Adventure

Leaders in Training (Grades 12 & 2019 High School Graduates)

June 23-28

Tier I: $475, Tier II: $525, Tier III: $575

Ever wanted to learn what it takes to be a camp counselor? This engaging training course will cover the most important aspects of effective camp counseling in a Christ-centered community. Leaders in Training (LITs) will focus on discussion, skill development, curriculum interpretation and teaching, and group activity planning. After successfully completing the program, LITs may be invited to volunteer for a week of camp later in the summer.
