Volunteer Work Day

Volunteer Work Day is a very important day at Camp Wyoming.  From splitting wood to cleaning windows, volunteers provide many hours of dedicated service to Camp Wyoming.  We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities for groups and individuals with a range of interests and abilities. Caring people like you who want to make an ongoing commitment to volunteerism at Camp Wyoming are encouraged to join us on this very special day. This year, we are inviting everyone out for May Madness– a work day, play day, and celebration of the start of summer!

Volunteers help clean the windows of Deer Center on Volunteer Work Day

On Saturday, May 28th, come to Camp Wyoming for our May Madness event. The event runs from 9am-3pm, and you can come for the morning, the afternoon, or both!

Volunteer Work Day
Help us prepare camp for the summer by clearing trails, splitting firewood, replacing chapel and campfire benches, making name tags for summer campers, and other important projects.

Bring the kids along with you. They can help with projects and participate in camp activities during their free time. We will have a nursery for young children so parents can participate in the volunteer work day.

Open House
Tour the site, meet our summer staff, and participate in a few activities like archery, kayaking, and arts & crafts to get a feel for camp. It’s a great way for your family to get acquainted with camp before your child comes to camp later in the summer.
